How to use Skinotem

Skin Studio
  1. Pick a starter: Steve, Alex, Pro Hoodie, Ice Mage, or upload any skin PNG to edit it.
  2. Choose a color and a tool. Paint on the flat skin map or straight on the 3D model (turn on “Paint on 3D”).
  3. Use the 2nd layer for jackets, hoods and hair. Turn on “Guide” to see where each body part sits.
  4. Pro tip: use Symmetry, Mirror limbs and the Lighten / Darken / Noise tools for real pixel-art shading. Check all sides with Front, Back, Left, Right, Top, Bottom or drag to spin. Press Download.
Totem Studio
  1. Pick Classic, Diamond, Netherite or Ruby, or start blank.
  2. Paint the 16×16 grid. The 3D totem updates live.
  3. Or build a totem from your own skin. Download the PNG or the ready-made resource pack, and follow the setup steps shown under the Totem Studio for your version.
Install a skin (Java Edition)
  1. Download your skin PNG from Skinotem.
  2. Open the Minecraft Launcher → Skins → New skin → Browse, pick the PNG.
  3. Choose Classic (Steve, 4px arms) or Slim (Alex, 3px arms). It must match the model you edited.
  4. Click Save & Use. Or upload it at minecraft.net → Profile → Skin.
Install a skin (Bedrock / Pocket Edition)
  1. Open Minecraft → Dressing Room (or Profile → Edit Character).
  2. Go to Classic Skins → Choose New Skin → Import, select the PNG.
  3. Pick Classic or Slim arms, then confirm. On phones, save the PNG to your gallery first.
Install a custom totem (resource pack)
  1. Press Resource Pack ZIP in Totem Studio. Pick your version at the top of the Studio; the pack_format fills in automatically (you can still edit it). Bedrock players get a .mcpack: open it and Minecraft imports it.
  2. Put the ZIP into .minecraft/resourcepacks (Options → Resource Packs → Open Pack Folder).
  3. Activate it in Options → Resource Packs. Totem of Undying now uses your texture.
  4. Manual way: place the PNG at assets/minecraft/textures/item/totem_of_undying.png. On Bedrock use textures/items/totem.png.
Can I edit normal skins like Steve or pro skins?Yes. Upload any 64×64 (or old 64×32) skin PNG, or load Steve/Alex, then recolor, add details and download. Old 64×32 skins are converted automatically.
Which Minecraft versions work?Choose any version from 1.7.10 to 26.2 and Bedrock in the version box. Skin editing, Classic/Slim models and the 2nd layer follow what that version supports; totem packs get the right pack_format and file path. If a newer version than 26.2 is out, edit the pack_format number by hand.
Is it free? Do you store my skins?Free, and everything happens in your browser. Your skins never leave your device.
